Ethiopian Community Television (ECTV) is home to Ethiopian's channels, offering viewers on Public Access cable channels of programs produced by the community for the community. ECTV Media Center provides Washington, DC Metropolitan Area residents with a broad range of media services and support programs that enables the creation, production, and cablecasting of community television programs of Ethiopianites.

ECTV promotes the power of the individual and the collective voice our community. Through its production facility, equipment, educational training, channel time and alternative programming, an environment has been created for Washington, DC Metropolitan Area communities to preserve, enhance, and share the Ethiopian diversity of thought and culture.
ECTV maintains its channels in a manner that is free of censorship and control of programming except as is necessary to comply with local, state, or federal laws and regulations. ECTV is an independent 501 C 3 non-profit organization, and is not managed by either the cable operator or the city or state.

Montgomery Community Television (MCT) is the only independent, nonprofit organization providing access to the powerful medium of television directly to the residents of Montgomery County, Maryland.
MCT's stations, Cable 19 and Cable 21, offer a highly diversified program schedule reflecting the community it serves. Through its television production training, access to quality video production equipment and dedication to local programming, MCT has created a readily available resource for County residents to create programming of interest to their friends and neighbors.
